“and many people shall go and say, come ye and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house
of God…” Isaiah 2:3
When I was at BYU, the only thing Draper was known for was the prison. Now, it has 90+ miles of cycling, hiking, and equestrian trails, and high quality neighborhoods. The city is ¾ mile above sea level with the temple situated high up on the mountainside. “It is in the temple that we remember who we really are and see with clarity who we really can become.” (Jean A Stevens). I drove above the temple to get this view. I picked this perspective because I could see with clarity the temple in front of me and the valley below. “Holy temples on Mount Zion In a lofty splendor shine, Avenues to exaltation, Symbols of a love divine.” (Hymn 289)
