Russell M Nelson has stated, “A firm foundation is necessary for any building, institution, or individual to endure” The Boston temple faced great opposition from the local community, but the local leaders were guided in their quest and the temple was finally approved. I chose this view of the temple to show the firm, rock foundation it was built on and how it rose like a light unto the world despite the initial opposition. Joshua 1:9: “Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest.”
