“Be found doing the work of the Lord” – Thomas S Monson

The Atlanta temple was the first temple I painted in this new journey of mine. I have considered it “my”
temple for almost 35 years. When we lived in Orlando, we would drive up to Atlanta and spend an entire
day in the temple. When you spend an entire day there, the spirit grows so strong as the day progresses
and you don’t want to leave. Now that I live in Atlanta, I go as often as I can to find peace when I am
hurting, inspiration and direction when I am struggling, and God’s love when I need it most. Thomas S
Monson has said, “As we touch the temple and love the temple, our lives will reflect our faith. As we go
to the holy house, as we remember the covenants we make therein, we will be able to bear every trial
and overcome each temptation.”
